Oliver O’Higgins

The death has occurred of Oliver O'Higgins. Cloone Village, Co Leitrim (Former Shop and Post Office), Thursday 1st January 2026 peacefully at Sligo University Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents; Patrick and Maryann, brothers; Frank, Desmond, Patsy, sisters; Madeline,Patricia and Noeleen.


Oliver will be sadly missed by his sisters; Adelaide (Toronto), Joan (London), sisters in law Eileen (Cloone Village), Eileen (London), brother in law; Hans (Switzerland), nephews; Brian, Kealan, Colin, Declan, Willie, Ciaran, Adrian, Simon and Ciarán, nieces; Marie, Úna, Marie, Lorraine, Síobhán, Gráinne, Síobhán, Vera, Briguette adn Nicole.

May Oliver Rest in Peace

 

Oliver’s remains will repose in St Mary’s Church, Cloone Village on Sunday 4th January 2026 from 5pm-7pm, followed by prayers at 6:45pm.
Mass of the resurrection will take place in St Mary’s Church, Cloone on Monday 5th January at 12 noon followed by burial in the local cemetery.
