Oliver (Ollie) Peter Murphy

Murphy, Oliver (Ollie) Peter (Glasthule, Co. Dublin, formerly of Dun Laoghaire, and Sandycove, Co. Dublin); May 30th 2025, after a brief illness so bravely borne and in the wonderful care of Blackrock Hospice. Predeceased by his parents Brian S. and Gabrielle. Adored husband of Christine and devoted father of Suzy and Ally. Ollie will be deeply missed by his wife, daughters, siblings, Mary, Stan, Brian and Stephanie, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of good friends.

Reposing at his home on Tuesday (June 3rd) from 5pm to 7pm. A celebration of Ollie’s life will take place on Wednesday (June 4th) at 11am in the National Maritime Museum, Dún Laoghaire, which can be viewed on https://funeralslive.ie/oliver-murphy/ followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium – Victorian Chapel.
