Oliver Peter Delaney, (Ballincollig, Co. Cork & formerly of Mountmellick, Co. Laois).

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and peaceful passing of Oliver Delaney, cherished husband of the late Nuala, and beloved father of Gerard, Trevor, Emlyn and Gavin. A wonderful grandfather to Mark, Emma, Rebecca, Christian, Maria, Carl, David, Adam, Seán, Sam and Charlie, and a great-grandfather to Pippa, Ciarán and Ronan. Treasured father-in-law to Maureen, Jean, Julieann and Anne-Marie. He will be fondly missed by his brother PJ, his sisters-in-law Ann and Susan, brother-in-law Tom, and his many nieces and nephews. His lifelong, loyal friends will forever hold him in their hearts and memories.

Lying in repose at Crowley’s Funeral Home, Ballincollig (Eircode P31 W982) on Wednesday (18th) from 6pm followed by prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass at 12.30pm Thursday (19th) in the Church of St Mary and St John, Ballincollig which can be viewed on https://www.churchservices.tv/stmjballincollig. Funeral afterwards to St Oliver’s Cemetery.

Oliver is finally reunited in Heaven with his adored wife Nuala, following many brave years of separation.
