Owen D'Arcy

Owen D’Arcy, (Retired Principal of, St. Fursey’s National School, Haggardstown) The Harbour, Annagassan, and formerly of Haggardstown, Co. Louth. Passed away peacefully after a long illness in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on Saturday 6th December 2025. Owen much loved husband of the late Margaret née Rohan (January 2023) devoted father of Keziah and brother of Pat, Jim, Gerard, Noleen and the late Majella. Owen will be sadly missed by his daughter, brothers, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephew, nieces, relatives and friends.

Owen will repose at McGeoughs Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street, (A91 XW66) from 2pm until 7pm on Monday. Removal on Tuesday morning at 10.15 via St. Fursey’s School, to St Fursey’s Church, Haggardstown (A91 XH75) arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery.
