Owen (Eugene) Harte

Formerly of Hertfordshire, England and Ballindrimley, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon, passed away at his home on Monday, the 24th of July 2023, in the loving care of his family.

Predeceased by Jane, his Beloved wife and best friend for over sixty-two years. Much loved father of John, Lorretta and Olivia. Dear brother to Cyril, Finola, the late Angela, Patrick and Nuala (Loretta). Adored grandfather to his six grandchildren: Josephine, Timothy, Daisy, Eugene, Brogan and Rosa. He will be sadly missed by his sons-in-law Edward, Paddy and Thiago, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Eugene could light up the room and he put the S in Sociability. He embarked on life's journey with his soulmate, wife and best friend Jane - travelling the world and enjoying life. We will miss him every day.

Reposing at his home, for family and close friends, on the 25th of July from 5.00 to 8.00 pm. Removal from his home at 11.45 am on Wednesday the 26th of July to St. Alphonsus Church, Barntown, Co. Wexford for 12.00 noon funeral Mass, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
