The death has occurred of
Owen (Gene) Neary
Owen (Gene) Neary, Sandygrove, Sandylane, Blackrock, Co. Louth. Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday 16th December 2025. Gene son of the late Eugene and Margaret, beloved husband of the late Patsy née Sharkey, dear father of Helen, Michael, John and Jennifer, loving grandad of Aodhán , Alexandra, Doireann, Niall, Joseph, Holly, Jamie, Isabelle and Finn and brother of Peggy Martin, and the late Jule O’Hare.
Gene will be sadly missed by his sons, daughters, grandchildren, sister, sons-in-law Peter and Kyle, daughters-in-law Denise and Zoe, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Gene will repose at his home (A91 NP04) from 4pm until 8pm on Thursday. Removal on Friday morning at St. Oliver Plunkett Church, Blackrock (A91 DD56) arriving for Mass at 10.30am. Burial afterwards in Haggardstown Cemetery (A91 XH75).
