Clerkin Funeral Directors regret to announce that the death has occurred of Owen Gunn, Ashgrove lawns Monaghan and formerly of Royal Oak, Michigan, USA peacefully in the company of his devoted family Friday 2nd January, and in the care of the staff of Ratoath Manor Nursing home.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Kathleen, and by his brothers, Mike, Jack, and sister Mary Ellen.

Cherished always by his loving son John, his daughter-in-law Sharon, and his treasured grandson Matthew. Lovingly remembered by his brothers, Jim, Charlie and Felix, his sisters Breege and Angela, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, his nephews and nieces, relatives in the USA, and all who knew and loved him.

Owen will be reposing at his family home in Ashgrove Lawns on Saturday (3rd) from 7pm until removal on Sunday (4th) evening at 5:30pm to arrive to St Macartan’s Cathedral for 6pm Vigil Prayers. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday (5th) at 11am, with burial afterwards in Laturcan Cemetery. Mass will be live streamed by clicking the below link.
