The death has occurred of
Owen O’ MALLEY
Owen O' Malley (Lecanvey, Westport, Co. Mayo.) September 2nd 2025: Peacefully at Mayo University Hospital, following a brief illness in his 93rd year. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife Maura (née Leneghan), daughter Mary, sons Brian, John, Owen & James, son-in-law Pakie Keane, daughters-in-law Elaine, Karolina, & Fiona, his adored twelve grandchildren, cousins, extended Leneghan & O'Malley families, and a wide circle of friends.
May He Rest In Peace.
Owen will rest in repose at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Louisburgh on Friday (Sept. 5th) from 5:30pm, concluding at 7:30pm. Removal from his home on Saturday at 10:45am, walking (weather permitting) to St. Patrick's Church, Lecanvey arriving at 11:00am for 11:30am Mass of Christian Burial, followed by interment in Murrisk Abbey Cemetery. (House private on Saturday morning to family only.)
