The death has occurred of Owen Shields. Cloughvalley, Carrickmacross, 27th December 2023. Unexpectedly, at his home.

Predeceased by his mother Julia, his sister Anna, his nephew Joivan and his grandparents Owen & Catherine.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his cherished family, his brother Patrick and his sisters Kathleen, Patricia, Rita & Irene, his sister-in-law Analiza, his brothers-in-law Michael & Seamus, his much-loved nephews & nieces; Melissa (Kevin), Caoimhe (John), Juleen (Paddy), Kyle (Laoise), Laurina, Guillermo, Kerina, Elena & John, his great-nephew & great-nieces Fionn, Cara & Elise, his relatives, friends & neighbours.

Owen will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Friday 29th December, from 3pm until 7pm.

Owen's funeral cortège will leave his home, Cloughvalley, on Saturday, 30th December, proceeding on foot, via Farney Street & Main Street, arriving to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
