Paddy Arundel

On March 21st, 2024, Paddy passed away peacefully at home in the presence of his loving family, beloved husband of Mary, loving father of Jackie (Holland), Pat, Helen, Sheila (O’Sullivan) and Shane, dear brother of Mary and Julia, father-in-law of Aidan, Fiona, John, Gillian and the late Gibbs Ross, much loved grandfather of Ellie, Sean, Daisy, Alfie, Issy, Millie, Gibbs, Charlie, Paddy and Hugo. Sadly missed by his loving family, relatives, kind neighbours and his many friends.

May he rest in peace.

As a family we would like to express a special thanks to Dr. Joan Lynch (NUA Medical Practice) and to all the team at Marymount University Hospital & Hospice, West Cork Palliative Care Services.

Reposing in Coakley’s Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry, on Sunday, March 24th, from 3pm to 5pm with vigil prayers at 5pm. Requiem Mass on Monday, March 25th, at 12 noon in Sacred Heart Church, Durrus, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to “The Marymount University Hospital & Hospice”.
