The death has occurred of
Paddy Byrne
Paddy Byrne Lakeview, Castleblayney, Co Monaghan, formerly of Love Lane, Castlecomer, Co Kilkenny, after a short illness at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Predeceased by his father Tom, mother Mary, his brothers Tom, and Seamus, nephews PJ, and Thomas. Deeply regretted by his wife Betty, daughter Mary, son Paddy (Aine), Patrice (Katie),Tony (Caroline), Sandra (Eamon), and Philip, sister Betty, grandchildren Andrea, Thomas, and Zoe, sister in law Sylvia, nieces, nephews, cousins and a large circle of friends, neighbours and Army colleagues. Paddy was a member of the Irish Army from 1968 to 1998.
May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
Reposing at his residence from 6:30pm to 9pm today. Tomorrow Wednesday from 12 to 9pm. Remains leaving his residence on Thursday at 10:15am, on foot via McGrath Road, passing Super Valu to Main Street, York Street, to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Castleblayney, for funeral Mass at 11am and burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
