Paddy Canney

On the 17th December 2025, after a short illness bravely borne, the death has occurred of Paddy Canney, Ahane, Kilkerrin, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway and formerly of Park West. Paddy passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, under the loving care of the Galway Hospice.

Predeceased by his father Sonny, mother Nellie, brother in law JJ Smyth and aunt Bridgie Egan.

Beloved brother of Tom (Angela), Jimmy (Christine), Vincent, Nonie (John Tierney), Evelyn (John Cloherty), Mary (Martin Glennon), Martina (Smyth).

Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing in Clonberne Community Centre (H53 W3W2) Friday 19th December 2025 from 6:30pm, with removal at 8pm to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Clonberne.(H53 XC89)

Funeral Mass on Saturday 20th December 2025 at 12 noon in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Clonberne, with burial afterwards to Clonberne Cemetery.

House Private please. Family Flowers only.
