Paddy Commins

Rooaunmore, Kiniska, Claregalway, Galway

Peacefully, at the Mystical Rose Nursing Home, Claregalway in his 99th year.

 

Dearly beloved husband of Mary and much  loved father of Mary (London), Sally, Nora, Patrick, Rita, John, Anne (London), Martin, Claire and Eilish.  Pre-deceased by his brothers John and Martin and his sister Rita Walsh (Lydican). 

 

Sadly missed by his wife, children, sister Mary Collins (Carrane, Claregalway), daughters-in-law Mary Armstrong,  AnnaMarie Conneely and Maeve Roberts, sons-in-law Pat Shine, Des O’Doherty, Paraic O’Connor, Simon Zaletel,  partner Jim Honan,  his adored grandchildren Sinead (Australia), Niamh (Bristol), Paddy (Newcastle), Michael, Eoghan, Richard,  Aoife (Australia), Ruth, Paraic, Jacob, Jarlath, Rachel, Ronan, Judith, Sophie, Ethan and Cormac, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

 

Paddy will leave his family home at 10.30 a.m. on Tuesday, 6th April to arrive for Requiem Mass at Claregalway Parish Church of the Assumption and St. James in advance of Mass at 11 a.m.   Funeral after Mass to  Claregalway Cemetery.

This funeral will take place privately in accordance with current Covid-19 guidelines. The attendance at the church, outside the church door and at the cemetery will be limited to 10 people.

Mass will also be broadcast on 106.4 FM radio in the Claregalway area.
