Paddy CUNNANE

The death has occurred of Paddy Cunnane, Cabragh, Geevagh Co. Sligo, January 6th 2026, in his 99year.

 

Peacefully, in the tender care of the doctors, nurses and staff at Sligo University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family and previously at his home in the care of his devoted family and his wonderful carers.

 

Pre-deceased by his wife Bridget, son-in-law Tommy Neary and sister Mary.

 

Paddy will be sadly missed by his children Mary, Bríd, Kay and Pat, daughter-in-law Geraldine, grandchildren Anthony, Declan, Laura and Anthony’s partner Hayley, nephews, nieces-in-law, nephews-in-law, extended family, sister-in-law, Pat Gallagher, Australia, his neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Shivnan’s Funeral Home, Ballyfarnon, Co. Roscommon, F52 WT26 on Thursday evening (January 8th) from 4 p.m. until 7p.m. followed by removal to St. Joseph’s Church, Geevagh, to arrive 7.30 o’clock. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday afternoon at 2.30 p.m.. Interment afterwards in Corrig Cemetery.
