Paddy Hughes

Paddy Hughes, Forest View, Mountbellew & formerly Longford Hill passed away peacefully in the tender loving care of his family and wonderful staff of Mountbellew Nursing Home on Monday, 20th October 2025.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Katie, his brothers Michael, Johnny, Matt, Tom, Jim and Willie, and his niece Breda.

Paddy will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law Kathleen, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, residents of Mountbellew Nursing Home, neighbours and many friends.

Paddy will repose at the Franciscan Oratory, Mountbellew Agricultural College on Thursday, 23rd October from 6pm to 8pm, where family and friends are welcome to gather, share memories and pay their respects.

Removal afterwards to St. Mary's Church, Mountbellew.

Funeral mass on Friday, 24th October in St. Mary's Church, Mountbellew at 11am, followed by burial in the New Cemetery, Tuam Road, Mountbellew.
