Paddy HUGHES

Formerly of Kilcavan, Co. Laois (Former Managing Director of Bord na Móna) Paddy passed away in the presence of his devoted family at St. James’s Hospital, Dublin. Cherished and deeply loved by his beloved wife Sadie, his children Majella, Conor, Paddy, and Cathal, his daughters-in-law Gillian, Paula, Deirdre and Majella’s partner Seamus, and his adored grandchildren Nicole, Christopher, Isobelle, Charlie, Daisy, Paddy, and John. Paddy’s warmth, wisdom, and kindness will live on in each of them. Predeceased by his parents, Paddy and Kathleen, his dear sisters Kathleen and Betty, and his brother John. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his extended family; his remaining brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and by the many friends whose lives he touched with his generosity and good humour. Paddy’s legacy of love, leadership, and laughter will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew him.

Reposing at O'Reilly's Funeral Home, Harbour Street, Tullamore (R35 FC84) on Wednesday from 6.30pm until Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of the Assumption, Tullamore, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am. Burial after Mass in St. Colmcille's Cemetery, Durrow, Co. Offaly.
