PADDY JORDAN

JORDAN Paddy. The Square, Gort, Co. Galway and formerly of Lakefield, Gort. Peacefully on the 11th of May, 2025, surrounded by his loving daughters and in the tender care of the wonderful staff of The Clarinbridge Care Centre.

 

Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Joan, adored son Patrick and nephew Barry.

 

Cherished and much loved, Paddy will be sadly missed by his loving daughters Pamela, Irene and Yvonne (Greaney, Headford). Fondly remembered by his sons-in-law Tom Creedon and John Greaney, treasured grandchildren Jack, Sophie, Jennifer and Harry. Deeply regretted by his brothers Tom and Michael and sister Rena, niece Liz, nephews Noel and John, cousins, relatives, the extended Jordan and Nash families, great neighbours and many friends.

Paddy will lie in repose in Seomra Ciúin, within Gort Town Hall, Church Street, Gort, (H91 E0C8) on Tuesday evening, May 13th, from 4.30 pm. Removal at 6.30pm to St. Colmans Church Gort. Requiem Mass Wednesday, May 14th at 12 noon. Paddy will be laid to rest afterwards in St. Colmans Cemetery Gort. Family flowers only please. The family deeply appreciates your kindness and support at this time. We wish to thank all who cared for Paddy over the years, especially Doctors Richard Joyce and Dearbhla Fadden and all the staff at Gort Medical centre, Prof. Pat Nash, the home care team especially Wendy and all at Clarinbridge Care Centre. A special word of thanks to all our kind neighbours and friends for all they have done for us over these difficult days.
