Paddy Leonard

LEONARD (Post Office, Cape Clear Island): On November 5th 2025 peacefully in the loving and tender care of the staff at Skibbereen Community Hospital surrounded by his family. PADDY son of the late John and Julia, also predeceased by his aunt Frances Kelly. Sadly missed by his sister Nellie (O’Mahony), brother Seán, sister-in-law Eileen, nephews Séamus and his wife Emer, John and his wife Helen, nieces Norma, Tríona and Emer, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends.

 

Reposing in Hurley & O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Skibbereen on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 5pm to 7pm followed by Prayers. Remains arrive at Baltimore Pier at 10.30am on Friday, November 7th 2025 for 10.45am sailing to Cape Clear. Requiem Mass on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 12 noon in St. Ciarán’s Church, Cape Clear. Burial afterwards in St. Ciarán’s Cemetery.

Ferry will return from Cape Clear Island to Baltimore at 3.30pm.
