Paddy Meehan

The death has occurred of Paddy Meehan, Roy, Dunmore, Co.Galway. Peacefully at his home in his 98th year, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his wife Anne (nee Greene) his grandson Lorcan, brothers James and Denis, sisters Birdie Hyland, Mary Fleming, Eileen Fogarty and Peggy Whyte. Paddy will be sadly missed by his loving family, sons John, Pat, Denis, Brian and Seamus, daughters Mary Hannon and Grainne Diskin, his sister Phil Reddington, daughters in law Noreen, Sally, Breda and Ita, sons in law Gerry and Billy, his adored 21 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, brother in law, nieces, nephews, relatives neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Glynns Funeral Home, Dunmore (H54NY61) Friday evening from 5pm-7pm. Removal from his home on Saturday afternoon to the Church of Our Lady and Saint Nicholas, Dunmore for funeral mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Galway Hospice Home Care Team. Funeral mass can be viewed on the local parish website.
