The death has occurred of
Paddy (Pat) Duane
With deep regret we announce the death of Paddy (Pat) Duane, Laurel Park, Newcastle, Galway and formerly Tourkeel, Athenry on August 12th 2023. Passed away peacefully after an illness, bravely bourne with his family by his side at UHG.
Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Margaret, his brother JJ and sister in-law Bridie.
Sadly missed by his brothers Michael, Tom, Jim (U.K.), Mattie and Frank, sisters Mary O’Connor (Corcullen), Anne Connolly (Clarinbridge) and Teresa Kavanagh (Kinvara), sisters in-law Mary, Julia, Hannah, Bernie and Kathleen, brothers in-law Jim, Pat and Gerry, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Quinn’s Funeral Home, Athenry, on Monday, 14th August, from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving to the Church of The Assumption, Athenry (H65 N294) on Tuesday 15th for Requiem Mass for Paddy at 12.30pm. Funeral Mass will be live streamed on https://www.churchmedia.tv/st-marys-parish-1 and can be listened to on the parish radio 106.5FM. A private service will be held in Shannon Crematorium on Wednesday 16th August. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Cancer Care West (https://www.cancercarewest.ie/donate/).
