Paddy Reilly

Paddy Reilly, Shraigh Crossroad, Bunnahowen, Belmullet, Co. Mayo at his residence on 29th May 2021. Predeceased by his parents Martin and Mary Reilly. Beloved husband of Eileen and dear father of Gary. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, sisters Mary, Ethna, Fidelma and Kay, brothers David and Paul, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral will depart from McDonnells Funeral Home, Belmullet, on Friday afternoon at 12.15 with funeral travelling to the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Glencastle, arriving for Funeral Mass at 1 o’clock. Burial afterwards in  Glencastle New Cemetery.

Live streaming of the Funeral Mass will be available for viewing at 1 o’clock on McDonnell Funeral Directors Facebook page, with all other funeral services available for viewing at 9 o’clock on Friday evening.

In keeping with current Government advice and H.S.E. guidelines regarding public gatherings, Paddy Reilly’s Funeral Mass will be private for family and close friends only with a maximum of fifty people in attendance at the Funeral Mass. For those who would like to pay their respects as the funeral cortege passes through the town and en route to the church and to the cemetery on Friday afternoon, please stand in a socially distanced manner on the streets, roadsides, outside the church and cemetery, ensuring public health and safety is being upheld to the highest standard. The Reilly family appreciate your understanding at this difficult time.

Memorial Mass for Paddy will be held at a later date. For those who cannot attend the funeral due to the restrictions, please leave a personal message for the family on the condolence form on this webpage.
