Paddy Sweeney

Paddy died peacefully in the care of the staff of the Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore on 27/03/2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his wife Eva, brother John-Joe and son-in-law Fintan.

Paddy will be forever missed and always remembered with love by his family, daughter Edel, sons Liam and Tony, daughters-in-law Michelle and Claire, his adored grandchildren James, Kelly, Cíara, Áine, Jim, Liam, Seán, Eva and Fintan, sister Maureen McCormack, sister-in-law Marian, brother-in-law Liam, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and his dear friends.

We hold you close within our hearts
And there you shall remain,
To walk with us throughout our lives
Until we meet again.

Reposing on Friday 28th from 4pm until 7pm in the residence of his daughter Edel McDonald, Cloonkeen, Ballymahon N39 K0N2. Removal on Saturday 29th to arrive to St. Matthew's Church, Ballymahon for Funeral Mass at 11am. Following Mass, Paddy will be laid to rest in the family plot in Forgney Cemetery.
