Pádraig Aherne
AHERNE (Montenotte and formerly of Ballineen, Co. Cork): On 7th March 2024, peacefully, surrounded by his loving wife and family, PÁDRAIG (late of St. Paul’s Special School, Cope Foundation and Special Olympics Ireland), beloved husband of Esther (née O’Connell), much loved dad of James and Patrick, adored grandad of Ciarán, Rónán, Paddy and Rosie, loving father-in-law of Julie and Julianne, dear brother of Aileen, Ted, Séamus, Ber and Mary.
Lovingly remembered by his wife and family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at the Mayfield Funeral Home, Old Youghal Road, of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. on Sunday (March 10th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Monday (March 11th) in St. Joseph’s Church, Mayfield which can be viewed
Funeral afterwards to Church of The Immaculate Conception, Enniskeane Church Graveyard.
