Padraig Brogan

Padraig Brogan, Tallagh, Belmullet, Co. Mayo and formerly of Sligo Road, Ballina peacefully at the Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar on 3rd January 2023. Predeceased by his parents Eamon and Sarah, father in law John Joe Neary and recently deceased mother in law Bridie Neary (née Cuffe). Beloved husband of Marie and adored father to Edward. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, brothers Enda, Fergal and Shane, sisters Karen and Orla, brothers in law, sisters in law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, many friends and colleagues in Mayo County Council, many friends on the Park Run, coaches and players at C.L.C.G. Béal and Mhuirthéad, neighbours and many friends far and wide.

Remains reposing in McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Friday evening from 5 O’Clock until 8 O’Clock. Funeral will depart from McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Saturday morning at 11.30 to arrive at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Belmullet for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in Glencastle New Cemetery. Following Funeral Mass, the funeral cortege will proceed via Padraig’s Family Home, Tallagh and Belmullet G.A.A. Grounds, Tallagh, returning to Belmullet and travelling via Church Road to Padraig’s place of work at the Belmullet Branch of Mayo County Council and continuing to Glencastle New Cemetery. Live streaming of the Funeral Mass will be available for viewing at 12 noon on Saturday on churchtv.ie/belmullet
