The death has occurred of
Padraig Gibbons
Padraig Gibbons, Glebe Street, Birr, Co. Offaly and formerly of Moneen, Roscommon. Retired member of An Garda Síochána, Padraig passed away peacefully on December 5th, 2024, in his 73rd year, in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Lukes Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by his loving family, having also been cared for by the staff of the Lough Boora Ward, Tullamore Hospital.
Pre-deceased by his parents and sister Noreen.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Lily, sons Patrick and Andrew, daughter Orla, daughters-in-law Roisín and Aoife, son-in-law Alan, his beloved grandchildren; Isabel, Adam, Jack & Dara, sister Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and many friends and neighbours.
May he Rest In Peace.
Reposing at Boyd’s Funeral Home, Birr (R42 YF75) on Saturday evening from 5pm. - 7pm.
Removal on Sunday morning to arrive at St. Brendan’s Church, Birr at 11.45am. for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr.
