Pádraig (Paddy) Ó Beaglaoich (Begley)

Pobal Ghleann Ard, Bóthar na Trá, Cathair na Gaillimhe, formerly of Gurrane, Daingean Uí Chúis, Corca Dhuibhne, Contae Chiarraí. D’oibrigh sé i Roinn na Gaeltachta ar feadh na mblianta.

On December 22, Pádraig’s life’s journey came to an end with his dearly beloved family by his side at University Hospital, Galway.  Beloved husband of Máire and  much-loved father of Seán, Pádraig Óg, Tadhg agus Muireann.  Deeply mourned by his wife, sons and daughter, by his brother John and sister Ann McDonnell, his ten grandchildren Fionn, Síofra, Oisín agus Mollaí, Billy, Hannah, Órlaith agus Bláthnaid, Ailbhe agus Aindí. Predeceased by his parents and brothers Thomas and Nicholas. R.I.P.

He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his daughters-in-law Maria, Claudia, Sarah and son-in-law Kenneth Tutty, sisters-in-law Ann and Kay, brothers-in-law Kerry and Donal, his loving god-daughter Eleanor Thompson, the extended  Ó Beaglaoich/Begley and McCarthy family, wonderful neighbours agus a chairde go léir.

Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91V1K8) on Monday, December, 26  from 2 p.m. to 3.30 p.m.  Arriving at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill at 4 p.m. approximately.  Requiem Mass to  be celebrated therein on Tuesday, December 27 at 11 a.m.
