Pádraig (Pat) Cafferkey

The peaceful death has taken place in the wonderful care of Arás Uí Dhomhnaill Nursing Home of Pádraig (Pat) Cafferkey of Ballyare, Ramelton, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal (F92Y8K1).

Predeceased by his beloved parents Emily and James, his sister Kathleen and brother Sean. Deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family, loving wife Mary, daughter Emma (Conor) and sons Martin (Sinead), Paul (Dominique) and Seán (Brittany). He was an adored Grandad to his grandchildren, a cherished brother to his sisters Mary and Anne, and brother Tony, a dearly loved brother-in-law, uncle, and treasured friend to many.

Pádraig’s remains will be reposing at his late residence on Saturday, 4th April, from 7pm to 10pm and on Sunday, 5th April, from 12 noon until 10pm. Rosary at 9pm on both nights.

Funeral leaving his home on Monday, 6th April, at 10.30am for Requiem Mass in the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Ballyraine, Letterkenny, (F92 PN81) at 11am, which can be viewed online at the Church of the Irish Martyrs YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@churchoftheirishmartyrs4657 followed by burial in Conwal Cemetery.

Family time please from 10pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral.
