The death has occurred of
Pádraig (Pat) Murphy
MURPHY (Boreenmanna Road, Ballinlough, Cork): We are saddened to announce that our beloved PÁDRAIG (Pat) passed away peacefully, on the 31st May, 2024, in the inspirational care of the staff across all disciplines at the Bon Secours Hospital.
He led an extraordinary life devoted to family, work and travel. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his dearest wife Anne, his treasured children Ronan and Muireann and his cherished grandchildren in whom he rejoiced; Caroline, Marcus and Ruadh. He greatly appreciated the love and support of his daughter-in-law Cliona and his son-in-law Kevin.
Predeceased by his siblings; Marie, John, Sr. M. F. de Chantal and Fr. Canice Murphy O.P.
Sadly missed by his extended family, friends and neighbours. Pádraig had many wonderful colleagues with whom he worked in Irish Steel, C.P.I., Kentz Corporation, Irish Ispat and ESB International.
Reposing at Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Monday (June 3rd) from 3.00pm to 4.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Tuesday (June 4th) in The Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Ballinlough which will be live streamed
Funeral afterwards to St. Senan’s Cemetery, Tower.
