PADRAIG PIERCE

Padraig passed away peacefully from this life on Sunday, December 31st, surrounded by his loving wife Anne and family, in the wonderful care of the staff of University College Hospital, Galway. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Ita Pierce.

Padraig will be deeply mourned and sadly missed by his loving wife Anne, daughters Yvonne (Muldoon), Assumpta (Dolan), Deirdre (Geraghty), Anne (Hughes), Caroline (Pierce) and Niamh (Masterson), his son John, sons-in-law Pakie, Iggy, Joe, Ger, Eddie (Partner of Caroline) and Eoghan, daughter-in-law Helen, his grandchildren Nicola, Padraig, Brian, Shauna, Rachel, Rebecca, Aoibhe, Caoimhe, Dylan, Michael, Padraic, Carrie, Jack, Jack, Aaron, Callum, Pixie, Art, Bodhie and his great grandchild Molly. His sisters Phyllis (Dwyer), Mona(Boyle, USA), Ita (Dervan), Una (Kelly), brother-in-law Jonas, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and his many friends.

Padraig will repose at St. Ignatius Funeral Home,(Duniry H62 WY82) , on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024, from 5 pm with prayers at 7 pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday January 3rd, at 12 noon in the Church of the Assumption, Abbey. Burial afterwards in Abbey Cemetery.
House private on Wednesday morning by request.

Padraig's family would like to express their sincere thanks to their extended family, neighbours and friends for all your kindness and support during this sad time.
