Padraig (PJ) Lydon

The death has occurred of Padraig (PJ) Lydon, Kilmainham, Kells, Co. Meath and late of Headford, Co. Galway, 7th December 2021. Peacefully at his home in his 91st year surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his brother John Lydon and his sisters Ann Murphy and Teresa Barrett. Sadly missed by his devoted wife Kay, daughters Mairead (FitzGerald), Dervilla (Finnegan), sons Martin, David and Enda, sister Mary Dunne (Australia), sons-in-law, John and Mark, daughters-in-law, Fiona, Kathryn and Michelle, much cherished grandchildren Niamh, Molly and Denis FitzGerald, Rose, Harry and Louis Finnegan, Padraig, Hanna, Katie-Anne, Lila-May, Lilly-B, Holly, Maisie, Jimmy, Charlie, Emma and Jack Lydon, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends and neighbours.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at his residence in Kilmainham (A82 Y2V1) on Thursday, Dec. 9th, from 5pm to 8pm. Removal to St. Colmcille’s Church, Kells on Friday, Dec. 10th, for Funeral Mass at 1:30pm which may be viewed live on https://www.kellsparish.ie/our-parish/webcam/ with burial afterwards in St. Colmcille’s Cemetery. House strictly private on Friday.
