Padraig Scanlon

Peacefully after a long illness bravely borne, surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff at North West Hospice. Pre deceased by his brother Anthony. Dearly beloved husband of Liz, cherished  father of Ann-Marie, Noel and Brenda, devoted Granddad to Noel Og, Darragh, Cian and Ailish.  Sadly missed by his heartbroken family, Ann Marie’s partner Brendan, Noel’s partner Melvyn, son-in-law Darren, brothers Tim, Mattie, Francie and Ignatius, sisters Maureen and Kathleen, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, wonderful neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Perry’s Funeral Home, Ballymote on Tuesday from 5pm to 7.30pm, with Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon in Church of The Sacred Heart, Riverstown followed by burial in Doo Cemetery, Ballymote. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to North West Hospice, The Mall, Sligo.
