Padraig Thompson

Padraig died peacefully, surrounded by his family in the wonderful care of the staff of Roscommon University Hospital. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Margaret (nee Sice), his parents, Patrick and Mary Bridget and his sister Minnie.

Padraig will be forever missed and remembered by his adoring children Maria, Bernie, Anne, Mags, Patrick and Joseph, his fourteen cherished grandchildren, his sons-in-law, Niall, Jake, and Mark, daughters-in-law, Veena and Eilis, sisters Ann and Beatrice, his sisters-in-law, Bridie and Kathleen, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends.

May He Rest In Eternal Peace.

Reposing at Gaynor’s Funeral Home, The Square, Castlerea (F45 HH24) on Thursday, 9th October from 4pm to 7pm followed by Prayers and reception into St. Patrick's Church, Castlerea, arriving for 7.30pm (approx).

Requiem Mass on Friday morning at 11am, after which Padraig will be laid to rest in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Castlerea.
