Páid McGee

McGee, Páid – (Rathgar, Dublin and formerly of Aughnacliffe, County Longford. Emeritus Director, Special Education Department, St. Patrick’s College/DCU, Drumcondra) - November 29th, 2018, (peacefully) in the exceptional care of the staff of Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross.

Beloved husband and dearest friend of Marie (Raftery) and much loved brother of Ita (O’Dowd), Eugene and Evangeline (Cummins). Predeceased by his brother, Fr. Philip, and sisters Sr. Kathleen (L.S.U.) and Alice. Páid will be deeply missed by Marie, Ita, Eugene and Evangeline, by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and relations, by the wider Raftery family, his former colleagues, neighbours and his many close friends.

Páid will be reposing at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross, from 3pm  to 7pm on Monday, (December 3rd).  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Tuesday, (December 4th), in the Church of Our Lady Seat of Wisdom, St. Patrick’s Campus, DCU, Drumcondra (formerly St. Patrick’s College), followed by burial at Glasnevin Cemetery.
