The death has occurred of
Pat Aherne
Aherne, Pat (Inishlosky, O’Brien’s Bridge, Co. Clare & Montpelier, Co. Limerick) (Ex ESB Ardnacrusha) on the 23rd March 2023, peacefully at home after an illness bravely borne, in the presence of his loving family. Deeply regretted by his beloved wife Nell (nee Cummins), dearly loved father of Paul (Kanturk), Margaret (Rathduff), Julie (Ballinlough), Aileen, Patrick, and Kate. Sadly, missed by his sons-in-law, Michael-John, Brian & Paul daughters-in-law, Gillian & Niamh, grandchildren, Ella, Neasa, Aoife, Seán, Sarah-Kate, Joan, Darragh, & Daithí, sisters Eileen & Patricia, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Meehan’s Funeral Home (V94 AWT7) Castleconnell, Co. Limerick on Saturday 25th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.. Reception into St. Thomas Church, Bridgetown, Co. Clare (V94 AY68) Sunday 26th for Requiem mass at 1.30 p.m. and burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please.
