Pat Barry

BARRY, Pat - 8th March 2026, (Portmarnock and formerly of Bantry, Co. Cork), (Peacefully after a short illness), surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of Dr Waseem Darwish and the ICU staff of the Mater Private Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Mary Barry.

Loving husband of Alice and devoted father to Sarah and Emma, father-in-law to Jonathan and adoring grandad to Conor and Finn. Very sadly missed by his wife, daughters, son-in-law, grandsons, sisters Margaret, Pattie and Teresa and their families, and many friends including former colleagues from An Post. Deeply regretted by his sister-in-law Joan, her husband Alan and their sons Kieran, Graham and their families.

Reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock on Thursday afternoon 12th March from 4pm to 6pm.

A celebration of Pat's life will take place at 10am on Friday morning in Dardistown Crematorium.

 

No flowers please, donations, if desired in Pat's memory to The Irish Cancer Society
