Pat Breen

Breen, Patrick Vincent, late of Grangemore, Rahoon, Galway and formerly of Castletownbere, Co. Cork, retired ESB, passed away Sunday, November 5th, 2023 in his 90th year, in the loving care of family and staff at Central Park Nursing Home, Clonberne, Co. Galway.

Predeceased by his wife Eileen (nee O’Sullivan), Ardpatrick Co. Limerick, parents J.D. and M.K. Breen, Castletownbere, Co. Cork, sisters Sr. Ann Breen and Moira Deasy, brother Colm, and brother-in-law Dick Deasy.

Deeply missed by his daughter Ann, sons Martin, Tim, Jim and Vinny, daughters-in-law Martha, Tara and Una, son-in-law Con Sheahan, grandchildren Aidan (and his wife Maedb), Eoin, Aoife, Neil, Yvonne, Caoimhe, Cormac, Jessica, Jack, Marty, Gemma and Kate, great-grandchildren Cuan and Ailbhe, sister's-in-law Teresa Croke (NY), Carmel O'Leary (Athlacca), Kathleen McEvoy (Abbeyleix), Kay Breen (Castletownbere), brother-in-law David O’Sullivan (Askeaton),Cousins Mary Kelly (CastletownBere) and Ann Steen (Castlecomer). and his many nieces, nephews and friends.

Reposing at Tearmann Mhuire in the grounds of the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oranmore (H91 XC61), this Friday, November 10th, from 4.30 pm. Removal to the adjoining church at 7.00 p.m. Funeral Mass at 12 noon on Saturday, November 11th. Funeral afterward to Rinville Cemetery. The Funeral Mass will be live-streamed at the following link https://www.oranmoreparish.org/live/ and broadcast on parish radio 105.3FM.
