Pat Connolly

Connolly, Baltimore Road, Skibbereen. On January 22nd, 2026 peacefully in the compassionate care of the wonderful staff at Skibbereen Residential Care Centre, surrounded by his loving family, PAT. Predeceased by his parents Cornelius and May Connolly, brothers Neilie and Donie, sisters Maura Cadogan, Josie Ring and Teresa Bowman.

Pat will be deeply missed by his loving wife Marie, sons Pat, Seán and Brian, daughter Jane, daughters-in-law Gill, Karan, Sandra and Pamela, grandchildren Rory, Owen, Adam, Aishling, Niamh, Alex, Hally and Reia, partners Amy, Bobby and Gemma, great grandsons Miles and Leo, sister Vera Maguire, sister-in-law Marie Croke, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Romie O’Donovan's Funeral Home, North St., Skibbereen on Sunday 25th January from 3pm to 5pm followed by prayers. Requiem Mass on Monday 26th January, at 12 noon in St.Patrick's Cathedral, Skibbereen livestreamed on http://Skibbereenandrath.ie Funeral afterwards to St.Patrick’s Cemetery, Coronea, Skibbereen via the town, pausing momentarily where Pat had his shop in North St., for many years.

We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to Skibbereen Residential Care Centre, Dennis, Nurses, Carers and all the staff and to Dr Dearbhla McPartland for their care and kindness. To Skibbereen Medical Centre doctors, nurses and staff, with a special thanks to Dr. Ger O’Shaughnessy for the years of care he gave Pat. To Michael and staff at Drinagh Pharmacy and to our amazing friends and neighbours.
