Pat Hegarty

Hegarty (Castehaven): On June 9th, 2024 peacefully in the tender care of the Doctor's, nurses and staff of Skibbereen Community Hospital, and in the presence of his heart-broken family, Pat, past secretary & P.R.O. of Castlehaven G.A.A. Club, beloved husband of the late Ann (née Hill), and loving father of Anthony, Eleanor (French), and Clare.

Deeply regretted by his loving family, sister Eileen (O'Driscoll), sons-in-law Tom & Brian, his much loved grand-children Joe & Áine, brothers-in-law Tom and John-Joe (Hill),sister-in-law Mary (Casey), niece Fionnuala, relatives, kind neighbours and a large circle of friends especially members of the Castlehaven G.A.A. Club.

Reposing in Shanahan's Funeral Home, Leap on Tuesday, 11th June from 4pm to 7pm, followed by prayers. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, 12th at 12 noon in St. Barrahanes Church, Castlehaven which will be live-streamed on https://corklivestream.com/funerals . The family will be in attendance at the Church from 11.15 am. Funeral immediately afterwards to Castlehaven New Cemetery.

The family would like to thank all those who cared for Pat throughout his illness. Family flowers only - donations in lieu to Skibbereen Community Hospital.
