On the 15th of May, 2025, Pat, passed away very peacefully in University Hospital Galway, with his loving family by his side. Devoted husband of Mary. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters Mary Freda and Brega, sons-in-law Brendan Kirwan and Paddy Walsh, his adoring grandchildren Liam Kirwan, Mary and Niamh Walsh, brothers Michael, John and Tommie, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, his wonderful neighbours and his ex colleagues in St. Mary's College.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing in Irwin’s Funeral Home, Bóthar Irwin (H91 CK84), on Sunday the 18th of May from 6.30pm. Removal at 8pm to St. Mary's Church, The Claddagh (H91 CD36). Pat's Requiem Mass will take place on Monday the 19th of May at 11am. Cremation service to follow in Shannon Crematorium, Co. Clare (V14 PV30), at 3pm.
