Pat Kavanagh

The death has occurred of Pat Kavanagh, Clonard, Kilbricken, Mountrath, Co. Laois, on the 23rd December 2025, peacefully at Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his adored wife Phina who died on the 17th December 2025, parents Michael and Esther, brothers Fintan and Michael and sister Esther.
Sadly missed and forever loved by his loving children daughter Mary and sons Fenton, Michael and Ronan, grandchildren Conor, Rian, Aoife, Aisling, Sean, Ruaidhrí, Katie, Eoin, Tadhg and Lucy, sister May, brother Sean, sister in law, daughters in law June and Georgina, son in law Dave, nieces and nephews, family, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

May Pat rest in peace.

Pat will repose in Burke’s Funeral Home, Mountrath, eircode R32Y661 from 5pm on Saturday 27th December concluding with rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass will take place in St. Fintan’s Church Mountrath eircode R32X338 at 11.30am on Sunday morning, December 28th and afterwards Pat will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife Phina in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath, Co. Laois.
