The death has taken place at the Lake House Nursing Home, Portnablagh of Pat McClafferty, Drumlackagh, Glen, Carrigart, Co. Donegal, F92DX51. Predeceased by his wife, Teresa, much loved father of John (Laura) and Tara (Micheál). Cherished Grandfather of Alayna and Liam. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sister Eileen, brother Cathal (Nora), sisters in law Rosemary (Danny) and Nora, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his brothers John, Phonsie and sister Mary.

His remains will be reposing at his home in Drumlackagh from 3.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. on Sunday 29th and on Monday 30th March 2026 from 11.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. Funeral Mass in St. John the Baptist Church, Carrigart, on Tuesday 31st March 2026 at 11.00 a.m. Burial afterwards in adjoining Graveyard. Family Time please from 10.00 p.m. - 11.00 a.m. and on the morning of the funeral. The funeral mass can be viewed on the Mevagh Parish Facebook page.
