McCarthy (Curraheen Village and formerly of Bishopsland, Drimoleague and U.C.C.) On April 7th 2025 in the exceptional care of the staff at the Mercy University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, Pat, beloved husband of the late Marie, loving father of Imelda, Pádraig, Veronica, Eithne, Carmel and Cárthach, fond grandfather of Asheraf Joseph, Adam, Conor, JP, Caragh, Aisling, Éanna, Éabha, Daniel, Sinéad, Sarah, Naoise, Diarmuid, Fionn and Alisa. Great grandfather of IIyas, James and Shea. Beloved brother of the late Sandy Joe, Denis and Fr. Dan. Sadly missed by his heartbroken children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sons-in-law Alan, Aziz and William, daughters-in-law Fiona and Georgina, sister-in-law Eileen, nephews Pat and Donal, nieces Mary, Anne and Ita, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Lying in repose at Crowley’s Funeral Home, Ballincollig on Wednesday (9th) at 8pm followed by prayers at 9pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday (10th) at 12 noon in the Church of The Real Presence, Curraheen which can be viewed on https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCs9gOQ24jUNFfWfzqvwWqqQ Funeral afterwards to St Oliver’s cemetery.
