McCarthy (Mallavonea and late of Kilcoe, Skibbereen) On March 4th 2026, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. PAT, devoted husband of Mary (nee Corcoran), much loved father of Caroline, Denis and Pat, brother of Jimmy and the late Jerry.

Deeply regretted by his loving family, daughters-in-law Sarah and Aoife, Caroline’s partner Peter, grandchildren Mia, Finn, David and Eoin, sisters-in-law Ann, her husband Florence and family, Josephine, her husband Larry and family, cousins, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Romie O'Donovan's Funeral Home, North Street, Skibbereen on Friday 6th March, from 5pm to 7pm followed by prayers. Requiem Mass on Saturday, 7th March at 12 Noon in St.Patrick’s Cathedral, Skibbereen livestreamed via http://Skibbereenandrath.ie Funeral afterwards to St.Patrick’s Cemetery, Coronea, Skibbereen.

The family would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Don Creagh, nurses and staff of Skibbereen Medical Centre, the public health nurses and the home help team for the outstanding care given to Pat.
