PAT MURPHY, Blackrock Terrace, Castletownbere, Co.Cork on January 30th 2026 , 97 years, peacefully in the presence of family and in the wonderful care of staff at Bantry General Hospital, .

Beloved husband of Mary (née Spencer). Loving father of Gretta , Willie, Pat, Maureen and Richard. Sadly missed by his loving family, extended family, son in law John, daughters in law Annemarie, Ann and Hannah, 15 Grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Survived by his sister Margaret. Predeceased by his brother Michael and his sister Martha.

Reposing at Harrington’s Funeral Home , Castletownbere on Sunday (1st February) from 4pm - 6pm followed by prayers.
Requiem Mass will take place on Monday (2nd February) at 12 noon in The Church Of The Sacred Heart, Castletownbere followed by Pat’s final trip around the pier before making his way to his homeplace in Droum and on to St.Mary’s Cemetery.
