It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Pat O’Shaughnessy, On August 31st 2025, unexpectedly following a tragic accident at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, in the presence of his loving family.

(More recently Laytown, Co. Meath and formerly of High Meadows, Gouldavoher Estate, Limerick and late of Screw Fix, St. Michael’s Rowing Club and his countless Biker Meet Groups).

Beloved son of Patrick and Kathleen and dearly loved brother of Grace and Ian.

Pat will be deeply missed by his loving family, partner Olga, nephew Seán, brother-in-law Jacques, aunts, uncles, cousins, work colleagues and many many friends.

Pat will repose at St. Paul's Church Dooradoyle [V94HP62] Wednesday, September 3rd, from 5.30pm to 7pm, followed by evening prayers.

Requiem Mass Thursday, September 4th, at 1pm, funeral afterwards to Castlemungret Cemetery, Mungret [V94452C]

Pat’s family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the Paramedics that attended the scene and to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of the I.C.U. Department of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda in particular Pamela, Tasha and Enrico and to everyone who has supported us over the last few days.
