Pat (Paddy) Mooney

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Pat (Paddy) Mooney, of Leixlip, Co. Kildare on March 17th, 2025, surrounded by his family at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. Devoted husband to Mary and deeply loving father to his children Suzanne, Patrick, David and Mary. Pre-deceased by his parents Paddy and Aggie. Pat’s generous heart will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by his loving wife, children and his adored 13 grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his daughter-in-law Sabina and partners, brothers, sister, extended family, wonderful friends and neighbours.

Pat’s big heart and smile touched everyone who knew him.

May his kind and loving soul find eternal peace.

Reposing at his home on Friday (21st March) from 3pm. Removal to the Church of Our Lady’s Nativity, Leixlip on Saturday morning (22nd March) arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by cremation at Newlands Cross Crematorium.
