Pat Shannon

The death has occurred of Pat Shannon, Rahans, Magheracloone, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, 1st February 2023.

Predeceased by his parents Packie & Eileen, son Fergal, brothers Cormac & Joe, sisters Eileen Marron & Rita Barnes. Deeply regretted by his wife Marie (née McMahon), daughters Paula (Derek), Áine, son Paraic (Siobhán), grandchildren Dara & Conor (Boston), Aisling, Fergal, Tara, Erin, Laoise & Sorcha. Sadly missed by his sisters Kathleen Martin (Corlea), Noreen O’Brien (Nobber), brothers John & Jim (Magheracloone), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Kieran Bros. Funeral Home (A82R3W2), Hall Street, Kingscourt on Saturday, 4th February, from 3 pm until 7 pm.  Pat’s funeral cortège will travel from his home on Sunday, 5th February, arriving at St. Patrick's Church, (The Rockchapel) Upper Magheracloone for Funeral Mass at 10 am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
