Pat Walsh

The death has occurred of Patrick Joseph Walsh, Beechfield, Portlaoise and formerly of Dysart, Stradbally Road, Co. Laois and Ivy Cottage, Headford, Co. Galway, on May 16th, peacefully at Portlaoise Hospital, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Tess Walsh (née McBride), loving father of Nial (RIP), Fiona and Colum, fond grandfather of Fynn, Erika, Ashling and Freya. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his children, his son-in-law Neil and daughter-in-law Maria, his sister Una, brothers Jim and Tom, as well as his brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and extended family. He will be greatly missed by neighbours, friends and many long-standing colleagues from An Garda Síochána.

Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home on Friday, 17th May, from 6.30pm to 8.00pm. Removal from there on Saturday, 18th May, to St. Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise for the funeral mass at 12 noon. There will be a private cremation next week. Family flowers only, please.
