The death has occurred of Patricia Fitzgerald (Nee Barnby) peacefully on 22 March 2026 at Drumderrig Nursing Home, Boyle, Co. Roscommon and formerly Cootehall,Boyle,surrounded by her loving family. She passed away after a long illness bravely borne.

Predeceased by her parents Millie & George & her sisters Margaret, Celine & Josie.

Beloved wife of Raymond and adored Mother of Rachel, George, Audrey & Edward. She will be deeply missed and forever loved by her heartbroken family - grandchildren - Holly, Eamonn, Jason, Sean, Raymond, Thomas, Daithi, Abigail, Caelan and Bella, Daughters in Law Elaena & Cathy, Sons in Law Emmet & David, extended family, her wonderful friends, her dog Molly and grand dogs Fitley & Ru.

May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

Patricia will be reposing at Higgins & Sons Funeral Home, F52RC58, on Wednesday, 25th March from 5pm to 7pm. The funeral mass is on Thursday 26th March at 11am in St. Michael's Church, Cootehall, Co. Roscommon (F52 AF85) followed by private cremation

Your dedication, dignity and genuine warmth brought great comfort to her and to us as a family. We will be forever grateful.
