On December 16, 2025, PATRICIA (ex: Bank of Ireland) passed peacefully in the excellent care of the doctors, nurses and staff of Bantry General Hospital. Beloved daughter of the late Michael and Kathleen (Newtown East, Bantry), dear sister of Tim (California), Cormac, Michael, Catherine, Nora (Widger) Waterford and the late Mary, sister-in-law of Janice (California), Anne, Sheila and the late Jerry. Deeply regretted by her loving family, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, relatives, kind neighbours and all her very good friends both in Bantry and Dublin.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Coakleys Funeral Home, Chapel St, Bantry on Thursday Dec. 18th, from 5pm to 7pm with vigil prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Friday Dec. 19th, at 12noon (to view live stream please click here) in St. Finbarr’s Church, Bantry followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery, Bantry.
